Baskin McCarroll welcomes Joseph Aldridge to Business and Transactional Section.

At a time when many Tennessee law firms are attempting to migrate south, opening satellite offices in DeSoto County to capitalize on the exponential growth in that area, one established DeSoto County firm is going against the grain and expanding its Tennessee practice. Baskin, McCarroll, McCaskill & Campbell, one of the largest and most established firms in DeSoto County, has announced that Joseph Aldridge is joining the firm’s commercial real estate and transactional practice. Mr. Aldridge, previously Vice Chairman of Real Estate at Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, P.C., brings twenty eight years of experience in commercial real estate, contracts, real property and transactional work to Baskin, McCarroll, McCaskill & Campbell.

John R. McCarroll, III, Managing Partner of Baskin, McCarroll, McCaskill & Campbell, expressed the firm’s excitement over the addition of Mr. Aldridge. “Baskin McCarroll could not be happier to have Joe on our team. Given that many of our attorneys are licensed in and represent clients in Tennessee, and we already have a residential and commercial real estate practice, it made perfect sense for us to seek out someone of Joe’s caliber to lead our commercial real estate and transactional practice in a new direction. Joe’s practice includes not only Tennessee and Mississippi clients, but also clients all over the country. We’re very excited about the opportunity to serve such a larger base of clients and provide them the value and level of service we currently provide our existing clients.”

Mr. Aldridge’s practice with Baskin, McCarroll, McCaskill & Campbell will include commercial real estate, transactional work, mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiations and complex commercial transactions. Mr. Aldridge believes that the move to Baskin, McCarroll, McCaskill & Campbell is strategically a good fit for him as well as the firm. “I was very invigorated with the opportunity to associate with Baskin, McCarroll, McCaskill & Campbell. The growth and industry that we’ve seen in the last fifteen years in DeSoto County is nothing short of amazing. I’m looking forward to continuing to serve my existing clients as well as expanding my practice to include new clients in this dynamic and growing community.” Mr. Aldridge specifially noted the economic incentives in DeSoto County and other counties in the State of Mississippi are a major contributor to this growth..
